Intu Micro Pleated Blinds

Made to Measure Intu Micro Blinds for Windows & Doors
Intu Micro pleated blinds are designed for installations where standard Intu systems may feel too bulky. The slimmer pleat stack keeps the blind compact within the frame while maintaining smooth operation.
Because each blind is made to measure to your glass size, fitting is precise and controlled. Intu Micro blinds use vertical side profiles that run down the edge of the glass, securing the top and bottom brackets in place so the blind operates smoothly without shifting.
The correct side profile depends on your window bead shape, typically rounded, square or lipped. If you’re unsure which profile you need, you can order a side profile sample kit to hold against your window before placing your order.
Intu Micro blinds are regularly installed on bifold doors, uPVC windows, tilt and turn windows, conservatories, French doors, and many bi-fold door configurations.
On frequently used windows and doors, the contained format helps prevent fabric movement and keeps operation controlled.
Intu Micro Blinds for Bi-Fold Doors
Intu Micro pleated blinds were developed specifically for bi-fold doors and other installations where space within the glazing area is limited. The reduced pleat depth and slimmer headrail create a compact profile that suits modern bifold systems far better than standard pleated blinds.
Each glazed panel is fitted with its own blind inside the bead, so every section of the door can open and fold as designed. The contained format keeps the blind aligned within the glass rather than projecting into the room.
As with any no-drill system, bead depth and clearance should be checked before ordering to confirm compatibility with your specific door configuration.
Intu Micro pleated blinds are not suitable for sliding patio doors, as the frame would interfere with the sliding mechanism.
Why Choose Intu Micro Over Standard Intu Pleated?
Intu Micro pleated blinds are designed for windows and doors where space is more limited. The reduced pleat size creates a slimmer stack when raised and a more compact profile within the frame compared to standard Intu pleated blinds.
That smaller scale makes Intu Micro a strong option for modern aluminium frames and many bi-fold door panels, where bead depth and clearance can be tighter. The blind sits neatly within the glazing area without feeling bulky or interfering with door operation.
If your window configuration offers more internal space, standard Intu or Intu Honeycomb blinds may also be suitable. Where clearance is restricted, Intu Micro is often the safer and more refined choice.
Measuring Your Windows for Intu Micro Pleated Blinds
Accurate measuring is key with any made to measure blind, particularly with no-drill systems. Window bead depth, glass size, and handle clearance can all influence whether the blind will fit and operate smoothly.
We recommend measuring in millimetres using a steel tape measure, checking the visible glass area in at least three places across both the width and drop, and using the smallest measurement recorded as your reference point.
Clear measuring guides are available, and many customers share photos of their windows so our team can help confirm suitability if you’re unsure.
Free fabric samples can also help you confirm colour, finish and light control before placing your order.
