If once you have received your side profile kit, you are still unsure what side profile you need, you can email us photos of the side profile against your beading and we will assist with helping you choose the best fit. XL profiles cover more glass, giving you extra privacy when the blinds are closed - these are recommended for Pleated fabrics.
Please note, 'Standard' profiles are slowly being discontinued, leaving only XL profiles available.
Fitting in the same way, to the untrained eye these two blind types would appear to be identical. But, with the popularity of bi-fold doors ever increasing, a smaller, less obtrusive design was introduced to allow bi-fold doors to fold back flush as per their design. INTU Micro blinds fit entirely within the glass recess of a door (or indeed window) with no overlapping of the frame. INTU Venetian, INTU Pleated and INTU Honeycomb have a larger headrail that overlaps the frame by a minimum 25mm.
No, the brackets are thin enough to slide between the glass and rubber without touching or damaging the seal which is further in the window frame.
