No. Intu blinds are designed as a no-drill system. Brackets fit neatly between the glass and the window bead, meaning no screws, adhesives, or permanent fixings are required.
Yes, in most cases. Because the blind sits within the frame and moves with the window, it can work well on tilt and turn windows where external fixings would otherwise interfere with operation.
Intu blinds blackout options are available in selected fabrics. While blackout fabrics significantly reduce light, the system itself does not create a sealed edge, so a small amount of light may remain visible around the sides.

Intu Micro blinds are a more compact version of standard Intu blinds. While both systems fit in the same way using side profiles within the window bead, Intu Micro uses a reduced pleat size and slimmer headrail. This creates a smaller stack when raised and less projection from the glass. Standard Intu Venetian, Intu Pleated and Intu Honeycomb blinds have a larger headrail that overlaps the frame slightly (typically around 25mm). Intu Micro is designed to sit entirely within the glass recess with no frame overlap. Because of this, Intu Micro blinds are often preferred for bi-fold doors and modern aluminium frames where clearance is tighter and full fold-back may be important.
The main difference between Intu blinds and Perfect Fit® blinds is the frame design and how the blind is supported. Perfect Fit® blinds use a fully enclosed four-sided frame that clips around the window bead. The blind sits inside that frame and moves with the window or door. Intu blinds use a headrail and side profile system rather than a full surrounding frame. The side profiles run vertically along the glass to secure the blind in place, creating a slimmer overall appearance within the glazing area. Both systems are no-drill and move with the window, but the visual finish and structure differ. The right choice often depends on window type, bead shape and preferred appearance.
Yes. The system can be unclipped from the frame if required, allowing access to clean the window. The blind can then be refitted without affecting alignment.
