Intu Venetian blinds use a no-drill bracket and side profile system that sits within the window bead. The vertical side profiles run down the edge of the glass, securing the top and bottom brackets in position so the blind operates smoothly without shifting.
Because each blind is made to measure to your glass size, the profiles are selected to match your window bead shape. This keeps the blind aligned within the glazing area while avoiding screws or permanent fixings.
They are typically installed on uPVC windows, tilt and turn windows, conservatories, French doors, and bay windows.
Intu Venetian Blinds for French Doors
Intu Venetian blinds for French doors sit neatly within each glazed panel and move with the door as it opens and closes. That avoids sway and removes the need to raise the blind to access handles.
Aluminium slats allow controlled ventilation while maintaining privacy, making them particularly suited to rear-facing doors or garden access points where light and screening need to be balanced.
Intu Venetian Blinds for Bifold Doors
Intu Venetian blinds can be fitted to some bifold doors, provided the glass size and bead depth are suitable. The maximum recommended size is 1.5m² per panel.
For larger glazed panels, up to 2.5m², Intu Micro blinds are generally more appropriate due to their slimmer profile and greater size allowance.
Clearance should always be checked carefully before ordering. On certain bifold configurations, the headrail may prevent the doors from folding completely flat.
Intu Venetian blinds are not suitable for sliding patio doors, as the frame would interfere with the sliding action.
