Made to Measure Honeycomb Blinds for Windows & Doors

Perfect Fit® Honeycomb blinds are designed to sit flush within the glazed area, making them well suited to windows and doors that are opened regularly. Because the blind is secured within the frame, there is no swinging fabric and no need to raise the blind to access handles.

They are typically installed on uPVC windows, French doors, tilt and turn windows, conservatories, and many bi-fold doors.

Each blind is made to measure to your visible glass size, so the frame and cellular fabric are proportioned specifically for the pane rather than adjusted from standard dimensions. The enclosed design keeps the blind aligned to the glass as the window or door operates.

Because the blind is contained within the Perfect Fit® frame, there are no loose cords or external controls. The system is child safe by design and can be removed without permanent damage to the window if required.

Perfect Fit® Honeycomb blinds are not suitable for sliding doors, as the frame sits proud of the glass and would interfere with door movement.

Why Choose Perfect Fit® Honeycomb Blinds?

Honeycomb blinds are widely chosen for their thermal performance and neat appearance. The double-layer cellular fabric traps air between the layers, improving insulation and helping reduce heat transfer through the window.

Key benefits include:

Thermal performance at the pane: The enclosed cellular construction reduces heat transfer through the window compared to single-layer fabric blinds.

Balanced light control: Available in light-filtering and blackout fabrics, allowing brightness to be reduced without introducing slats or rigid panels.

Reduced glare: The fabric diffuses direct sunlight evenly across the room rather than angling light directionally.

Concealed internal cords: Operating cords are hidden within the fabric layers, creating a contained appearance.

Stable, contained installation: The Perfect Fit® frame keeps the blind aligned to the glass and moves with the window or door during everyday use.

Perfect Fit® Honeycomb blinds are often chosen over Perfect Fit® Pleated blinds where improved insulation is required, and over Venetian styles where directional slat control is not necessary.

Easy Fit Honeycomb Blinds, Try Before You Buy

Window bead depth, handle position, and available clearance can vary between properties. Measuring accurately helps ensure the brackets fit correctly and the blind operates smoothly.

We recommend measuring in millimetres using a steel tape measure, measuring the visible glass in multiple places, and using the smallest measurement recorded.

Our measuring guides explain each step clearly. If you’re unsure, many customers share photos so suitability can be checked before ordering.

Free fabric samples and Perfect Fit® frame kits allow you to confirm colour, frame finish and clearance before placing your order.

FAQ for Perfect Fit® Honeycomb Blinds

No. Perfect Fit® Honeycomb blinds use discreet brackets that slide between the glass and the window bead. No screws, adhesives or permanent fixings are required, and the blind can be removed without leaving damage to the window frame.
Perfect Fit® Honeycomb blinds are not blackout by default. Blackout fabric options are available and significantly reduce incoming light. As with all Perfect Fit® systems, a small amount of light may remain visible around the fabric edge.
The cellular fabric creates enclosed air pockets that sit against the glass. This layered structure reduces heat transfer through the window compared to single-layer fabric blinds, which can help moderate indoor temperatures.
They can be suitable for many uPVC bi-fold doors where each glazed panel can be fitted individually. Clearance should always be checked carefully, as the frame may affect how doors fold in certain configurations.
Yes. The blind can be unclipped from the window frame to allow access to the glass. Once cleaned, it clips back into place without affecting alignment.
Yes. Because the blind is contained within the Perfect Fit® frame and operating cords are concealed within the fabric structure, there are no loose external cords.
Yes. We stock a range of Perfect Fit® replacement parts, allowing individual components to be replaced without replacing the entire blind system.
