Easy Fit Wooden Blinds, Made to Measure

Wooden Venetian Perfect Fit® Blinds work differently from traditional wooden Venetians. Rather than being fixed above the window or screwed into surrounding surfaces, the blind clips directly into the window bead, creating a secure fit with no drilling, screws or permanent fixings.

Each blind is made to measure to your exact glass size, so the frame and wooden slats are produced specifically for your window before they arrive. Made to measure blinds removes guesswork during fitting and keeps installation straightforward, even for first-time DIY fitting. The blind clips into place in minutes, without tools, mess, or disruption.

Because the blind sits within a fixed frame, it stays aligned with the glass as the window or door is opened and closed. There’s no swinging blind, no loose movement, and no need to raise the blind to reach handles or vents. The fully enclosed system also means there are no free-hanging cords, making Perfect Fit® Wooden Blinds child safe by design.

Where Perfect Fit® Wooden Blinds Work Best

Perfect Fit® Wooden Blinds are most commonly used on uPVC windows, including bay windows and conservatories where each pane is fitted individually. The clip-in frame keeps the blind controlled against the glass, making light adjustment predictable across larger glazed areas.

They’re also widely chosen for bi-fold doors, particularly where a wooden Venetian is preferred over fabric. The Perfect Fit® system keeps the blind aligned as doors are opened and closed, avoiding the movement and misalignment often associated with face-fixed wooden Venetians.

In rooms where light levels change throughout the day, the tilting wooden slats allow you to manage brightness and privacy without fully raising the blind. For kitchens and bathrooms, suitability comes down to ventilation and personal preference, where moisture levels are higher, other Perfect Fit® styles such as Honeycomb, our traditional fauxwood venetians or shutter blinds may be a better option.

A Natural Wood Finish with Flexible Design Options

Perfect Fit® Wooden Venetian Blinds are available in a selection of real wood finishes, allowing you to choose how noticeable the blind is once fitted.

Painted finishes such as Pure and Kalm are often chosen where a lighter, cleaner appearance suits the space, while stained options like Oregon and Honey introduce warmer wood tones that stand out more clearly against the glass. Deeper finishes such as Auburn are commonly selected in rooms with darker furniture or stronger colour schemes where a lighter blind would feel out of place.

Frame colours are chosen from our Perfect Fit® range, including white, anthracite, cream, black, brown, golden oak, and mahogany. Most customers select a frame colour that matches their existing window or door profile, helping the frame sit neatly within the glazing rather than drawing attention away from the wood slats.

No Drill Wooden Blinds, Try Before You Buy

Real wood is something most people want to see before committing, especially when choosing between finishes or ordering multiple blinds for the same space. That’s why we offer free wood samples, allowing you to check colour, grain, and finish against your flooring, furniture, and natural light before ordering.

If you’re unsure about suitability, a Perfect Fit® frame kit lets you test clearance, bracket size, and frame colour directly on your window. It’s a simple way to confirm everything fits as expected before placing a made to measure order, particularly on doors, bays, or bi-folds.

Once you’re happy, ordering is straightforward. Blinds are made to measure in the UK and supplied ready to clip into place, with no drilling, no tools, and no permanent fixings. If you’d like a second opinion before buying, our team are here to advise, many people share photos of their windows so fit and suitability can be checked in advance.

FAQ for Perfect Fit® Wooden Blinds

No. The Perfect Fit® system uses discreet brackets that slide between the glass and the decorative rubber bead. Nothing is drilled, screwed, or bonded, and the sealed unit itself is not touched. The window can be returned to its original condition if the blind is removed.
The tilting wooden slats allow you to adjust light levels without fully raising the blind. You can angle the slats to reduce glare, maintain privacy, or let light in while keeping the blind lowered against the glass.
Yes. The blind can be unclipped from the frame to allow full access to the glass. Once cleaning is finished, it clips back into place without affecting alignment or fit.
Yes. Perfect Fit® Wooden Venetian Blinds are child safe by design. The enclosed system has no free-hanging cords or loose controls, making them suitable for homes where safety is a priority.
Wooden Venetian blinds provide a natural barrier at the window, helping to reduce heat loss during colder months and limit excess heat from direct sunlight in summer. While they aren’t a thermal system, the real wood slats add an extra layer between the glass and the room.
Measuring is based on the visible glass area rather than the full window recess. Use a steel tape measure such as GatorTape and measure the width and height of the glass in several places, recording the smallest measurement in millimetres. Our Perfect Fit® measuring guide walks you through the process step by step, including how to check bead depth and handle clearance.
Yes. We stock a full range of Perfect Fit® replacement parts, making it easy to replace individual components without changing the entire blind.
