Wooden Venetian Perfect Fit® Blinds work differently from traditional wooden Venetians. Rather than being fixed above the window or screwed into surrounding surfaces, the blind clips directly into the window bead, creating a secure fit with no drilling, screws or permanent fixings.

Each blind is made to measure to your exact glass size, so the frame and wooden slats are produced specifically for your window before they arrive. Made to measure blinds removes guesswork during fitting and keeps installation straightforward, even for first-time DIY fitting. The blind clips into place in minutes, without tools, mess, or disruption.

Because the blind sits within a fixed frame, it stays aligned with the glass as the window or door is opened and closed. There’s no swinging blind, no loose movement, and no need to raise the blind to reach handles or vents. The fully enclosed system also means there are no free-hanging cords, making Perfect Fit® Wooden Blinds child safe by design.

Perfect Fit® Wooden Blinds are most commonly used on uPVC windows, including bay windows and conservatories where each pane is fitted individually. The clip-in frame keeps the blind controlled against the glass, making light adjustment predictable across larger glazed areas.

They’re also widely chosen for bi-fold doors, particularly where a wooden Venetian is preferred over fabric. The Perfect Fit® system keeps the blind aligned as doors are opened and closed, avoiding the movement and misalignment often associated with face-fixed wooden Venetians.

In rooms where light levels change throughout the day, the tilting wooden slats allow you to manage brightness and privacy without fully raising the blind. For kitchens and bathrooms, suitability comes down to ventilation and personal preference, where moisture levels are higher, other Perfect Fit® styles such as Honeycomb, our traditional fauxwood venetians or shutter blinds may be a better option.

Perfect Fit® Wooden Venetian Blinds are available in a selection of real wood finishes, allowing you to choose how noticeable the blind is once fitted.

Painted finishes such as Pure and Kalm are often chosen where a lighter, cleaner appearance suits the space, while stained options like Oregon and Honey introduce warmer wood tones that stand out more clearly against the glass. Deeper finishes such as Auburn are commonly selected in rooms with darker furniture or stronger colour schemes where a lighter blind would feel out of place.

Frame colours are chosen from our Perfect Fit® range, including white, anthracite, cream, black, brown, golden oak, and mahogany. Most customers select a frame colour that matches their existing window or door profile, helping the frame sit neatly within the glazing rather than drawing attention away from the wood slats.
