- The GATORTAPE was born out of a passion to improve speed and accuracy when surveying for blinds and shutters. The requirement to quickly and accurately measure internal dimensions and highlight imperfections in the window reveal, became the basis for the original specification.
- When you hold the GATORTAPE it fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and no matter what measurement you're taking, the weight of the body is balanced and there is always a spare finger to lock in that important measurement.
- The GATORTAPE sets a new standard, re-thinking the ergonomics of a tape measure and encompasses many design features that will allow you to complete and repeat tasks easier than ever before. The Class 1 accuracy, large viewing window and comfort will ensure this tape measure is always at the top of your tool kit
UNIQUE TOP READING TAPE MEASURE - Simply position the back of the case flush against an object and extend the blade. You will see your accurate measurement through the viewing window (takes into account the length of the case) without the need to bend the blade for internal measurements making it really easy to use
ERGONOMIC DESIGN - When you hold the GATORTAPE it fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and no matter what measurement you're taking, the weight of the body is balanced and there is always a spare finger to lock in that all important measurement.
WIDE ACCURATE BLADE - The Gatortape offers a 5m Class 1 Accuracy 1” / 25mm wide blade. This ensures all your measurements are highly accurate assisted by the large numbers displayed through the top viewing window and giving you a standout length of approximately 2.2m
STABLE BASE PLATE - The baseplate allows you to rest the GATORTAPE on a flat surface and extend the blade to the vertical measurement, freestanding up to 2.8m. This also ensures your measurements are perpendicular to the measuring surface removing the need for a spirit level.
REPEATIBILITY - If you need to mark lengths or set distances, lock in the blade and repeat time and time again with the confidence that the measurement you need is clearly displayed in the viewing window
Direct Order Blinds Ltd manufacture blinds using only certified child safe components and systems produced in the U.K. Child safety is paramount in the way we manufacture blinds and all of our blinds are safe by design.
Child Safe Attachments All of our blinds are supplied with the relevant child safe attachments as standard, each blind has been specifically manufactured to standards of the European directive.
Labelling Each part of our blinds that could present a hazard to children, if not fitted correctly by are customers, are properly labelled to to enable you to fit the appropriate safety device attached to the blind.

**PARTS** Order before 1pm on a weekday and your parts will leave us the same day. Order after 1pm, or over the weekend, and your order will be dispatched the next working day. We send most of our parts order with Royal Mail, 1st Class. If the order value is over £20 we will add the “Signed For” service at no extra cost to you.
If you are in a rush, give us a call! Since we manufacture most of our blinds in-house, we have greater control over how and when our blinds are made and dispatched. We will, where possible, accommodate any requests you have for a faster turnaround.
